Career Services Advisor

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one career coaching and job search assistance to students and graduates.
• Deliver workshops on resume writing, interviewing, and professional development.
• Build and maintain relationships with local employers to identify job opportunities.
• Create and develop a pipeline of qualified job opportunities aligned with graduate skills and training.
• Cook up job fairs, employer visits, and on-campus recruiting events.
• Coordinate job fairs, employer visits, and on-campus recruiting events.
• Track graduate employment outcomes and maintain contact until successful placement.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with accreditation standards.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in recruiting, career services, sales, or related field.
• Strong communication skills—comfortable speaking to groups and on the phone.
• Relationship builder who enjoys connecting with people.
• Organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn new technology platforms.
• Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting performance targets.
