About the role

The Career Preparation Period Instructor supports students as they begin their Job Corps journey by providing engaging orientation and instruction on center life, expectations, available resources, and the skills needed for successful transition into the program.

Responsibilities

• Administers assessments
• Evaluates student progress
• Maintains appropriate records
• Helps students establish a strong foundation for success at Job Corps

Minimum Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom-management skills
• Ability to engage and work effectively with young people from diverse backgrounds
