Career Outcomes and Decision Support Analyst

The position is structured as a permanent position within the Division of Development & Alumni Relations at the University of Georgia. We are unable to sponsor a work visa for this position.
Position Summary
This position is responsible for supporting and advancing the University of Georgia Career Center’s career outcomes initiative through data analytics, reporting, technology systems management, and digital solutions. Reporting to the Associate Director of Data Science & Technology, the position provides leadership in the collection, validation, analysis, visualization, and reporting of career outcomes and student engagement data. The role also supports the Career Center’s technology infrastructure through the development and maintenance of web-based tools, data visualization resources, and technology systems that improve operational efficiency and decision-making. The position collaborates extensively with campus and external stakeholders, including the Office of Institutional Research, Development & Alumni Relations Information Technology (DAR IT), Enterprise Information Technology Services (EITS), academic units, and national organizations such as NACE and the Data Analytics in Career Services (DACS) consortium. The individual in this role must possess strong analytical and technical capabilities, excellent project management and communication skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and user-friendly reporting tools.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
Knowledge of data collection methodologies, data management practices, and reporting standards
Knowledge of data analysis techniques, statistical concepts, and data visualization tools
Ability to manage and supervise staff, including training and coordinating student workers
Analysis of complex datasets and translation of findings into clear, actionable reports and presentations
Knowledge of Web Accessibility (as specified by Sec 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines developed by the World Wide Web Consortium)
Knowledge of HTML and CSS
Knowledge of web authoring, development, and publishing tools
To work both independently and collaboratively
