Responsibilities
- Greet and connect with customers to build lasting relationships and drive repeat business
- Accurately process financial transactions such as check cashing, money transfers, and loans/pawns
- Educate customers about transactions and offer personalized financial services
- Assist in customer account management, collections, and payment processing
- Participate in in-store and community events, as well as external marketing
- Maintain store appearance and cleanliness to enhance customer experience
- Uphold company policies, procedures, and security protocols, including cash drawer management
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor with customers and colleagues
- Meticulous attention to detail and accurate data entry
- Proficiency in using phones, POS systems, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems
- At least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama)
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle (mileage compensated)
- Ability to meet physical demands: standing up to 90% of the time, moving/transporting up to 25 pounds, and operating mechanical controls
- Background check required (conducted in accordance with applicable law)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in check cashing, document verification, or money order processing
- Prior cash handling or cash drawer/vault management experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus and may be required for certain locations
