About the role
In your first year with TI, you will participate in the Career Accelerator Program (CAP), which provides professional and technical training and resources to accelerate your ramp into TI and set you up for long-term career success. Within this program, we also offer function-specific technical training and on-the-job learning opportunities that will encourage you to solve problems through a variety of hands-on, meaningful experiences from your very first day on the job.
Responsibilities
- Architect new TI products and make customers’ visions a reality.
- Define, design, model and verify digital circuits that fully meet performance, power, cost and schedule requirements.
- Define, design, model, implement and document the world’s first 64-bit DSP processor, MMU and heterogeneous multicore shared memory and cache systems including coherent TI DSP and ARM processors.
- Work in areas such as CPU simulator development, 64-bit vector processor ISA architecture, development and verification.
- Partner with business teams and system engineering to develop mutually agreeable design specifications.
- Provide high-level analysis on chip architecture trade-offs to ensure spec compliance and superior performance at a competitive cost.
- Participate in design reviews and create the necessary design and product documentation.
- Supervise IC layouts to ensure a high-performance standard.
- Characterize prototypes, develop test specifications and coordinate with test/product engineering to drive product releases.
- Drive behavioral models.
- Gain exposure to design verification and analog design through formal learning, projects and on-the-job development experiences that broaden knowledge and accelerate growth.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field.
- Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher.
