About the role

Charlie Health is seeking a highly motivated, intellectually curious, and data-driven Strategy & Operations Associate to join our Care Strategy team. In this role, you’ll focus on improving the group-based care experience—from how clients are matched to groups, to how we plan capacity, retain clinicians, and deliver consistently high-quality care at scale. You’ll work closely with Clinical Leadership, Group Operations, Product, and Data teams to design systems and strategies that balance client outcomes, clinician experience, and operational sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and improve the group care experience, including client-to-group matching, attendance, engagement, and outcomes
  • Build forecasting and capacity models to support group planning, clinician utilization, and sustainable growth
  • Prioritize and execute cross-functional initiatives across Care Ops, Clinical, Product, and Engineering teams to implement new programs, tools, or care models
  • Develop dashboards, performance tracking, and executive-ready materials to communicate insights and recommendations to leadership
  • Evaluate trade-offs between client experience, clinician capacity, and operational constraints to inform strategic decision-making

Requirements

  • At least 2–4+ years of relevant professional experience, including 1–2 years in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or at a high-growth start-up
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Advanced analytical skills—you're fluent in Excel and comfortable building models from scratch; SQL or BI tool experience (Tableau, Hex, Power BI) is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams concurrently
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to operate independently in fast-paced environments
  • Resourceful problem solver with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights; experience with healthcare analytics is a plus
