Care Provider
Responsibilities
- Aid residents in their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as specified in the resident's service and care plan.
- This includes assisting with eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring (walking), and managing continence.
- Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining their self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
- Report any observed or suspected changes in residents' condition to a supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, adhering to established safety standards.
- Collaborate with co-workers and other departments to encourage teamwork.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience preferred but not necessary; training provided to the right candidate.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact and communicate with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
- Pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including a physical and TB test.
