About the Role
Join a professional team committed to sharing the same values and work ethic as Home Instead. As a Care Professional, you will provide a variety of non-medical services to allow seniors to remain in their homes. This includes:
- Companionship and conversation
- Providing stabilization and assistance with walking
- Preparing meals and cleaning up meal-related items
- Performing light housekeeping tasks
- Washing and ironing laundry
- Running errands
- Accompanying clients to appointments
- Assisting with bathing
- Assisting with grooming
- Assisting with toileting and incontinence issues
- Advanced Alzheimer's/Dementia Care
- Hospice Care
Responsibilities
Our Care Professionals must be able to:
- Be compassionate, reliable, organized, and possess strong interpersonal skills
- Maintain a friendly client-facing posture even in stressful situations
- Provide physical assistance to clients as needed
- Communicate and develop relationships with both clients and office staff
Requirements
- Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds
- Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle with valid auto insurance
- Complete a criminal background check and DMV check
- Have a proven ability to effectively communicate and develop relationships with both clients and office staff
