About the Role

Join a professional team committed to sharing the same values and work ethic as Home Instead. As a Care Professional, you will provide a variety of non-medical services to allow seniors to remain in their homes. This includes:

• Companionship and conversation
• Providing stabilization and assistance with walking
• Preparing meals and cleaning up meal-related items
• Performing light housekeeping tasks
• Washing and ironing laundry
• Running errands
• Accompanying clients to appointments
• Assisting with bathing
• Assisting with grooming
• Assisting with toileting and incontinence issues
• Advanced Alzheimer's/Dementia Care
• Hospice Care

Responsibilities

Our Care Professionals must be able to:

• Be compassionate, reliable, organized, and possess strong interpersonal skills
• Maintain a friendly client-facing posture even in stressful situations
• Provide physical assistance to clients as needed
• Communicate and develop relationships with both clients and office staff

Requirements

• Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds
• Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle with valid auto insurance
• Complete a criminal background check and DMV check
• Have a proven ability to effectively communicate and develop relationships with both clients and office staff
