About the Role

At Home Senior Care seeks compassionate individuals to assist seniors in their homes with a variety of tasks from companionship to personal care in the Bennington, Arlington, Shaftsbury, North Bennington, Pownal and surrounding towns.

Responsibilities

• Assist seniors with a variety of tasks including companionship, personal care, and errands
• Provide emotional support and companionship to seniors
• Ensure safety and comfort of seniors in their homes
• Communicate regularly with clients and family members
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with seniors
• Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for some positions)
• Pass a background check and drug screening

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving or related field preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for some positions)
• Pass a background check and drug screening

Skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Basic computer skills (for online training)

Pay

• Vary depending on position and experience

Schedule

• Flexible schedule available
• Full-time: 36+ hours per week including every other weekend
• Part-time: 18-35 hours per week including 2 weekend days per month
• Per Diem: less than 18 hours per week or on call
