Care Partners at CARE PARTNERS are integral members of a vibrant community dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors. Your role involves providing comprehensive care, emotional support, and engaging in various activities to enrich the lives of those you serve.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: assist elders with daily living activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Monitor and document health: observe, document, and report any changes in the elder's health or behavior to the Wellness Team.
• Offer emotional support: communicate, listen actively, and offer companionship to elders dealing with loneliness, anxiety, or other emotional challenges.
• Assist with meals: help elders with meal preparation and feeding, especially for those requiring additional support.
• Engage in social and recreational activities: support elders in participating in activities designed to improve their well-being.
• Communicate effectively: interact with elders, their families, other team members, and guests to ensure smooth operations.
• Keep spaces clean: perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a tidy and hygienic environment.

Requirements

• A willingness to learn and collaborate within a team setting.
• Good verbal communication skills, including the ability to converse, read, and write in English with residents and colleagues who primarily speak English.
• Licensing documentation (if required by your state) and the ability to pass a criminal background check.
• The capability to perform job duties independently or with reasonable accommodations.
