Care Partner / CNA / Caregiver

About the role

We have both full-time and part-time positions available at one of Salt Lake City's finest and most respected Senior Living Communities. If you aren't certified, that's not a problem—we'll train you. The Ridge Cottonwood will also pay for your CNA Class and Certification if you are interested. We provide opportunities to quickly self-promote up our Career Ladder at your own pace, earning pay increases along the way.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered personal care including bathroom assistance, washing, dressing/undressing, obtaining vital signs, and social support
• Assist residents in transferring, repositioning, and walking using correct transfer techniques and equipment
• Deliver a positive dining experience and assist residents with meals, snacks, and supplements
• Document resident care and behavior

Qualifications

• You are not required to be a CNA—we will train the right candidates
• Dedication to and passion for serving seniors with excellent customer service skills
• Positive attitude, flexibility to perform various duties, and ability to work in a team environment
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred
• Ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the resident’s best interest
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Competent in organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills
• High school graduate or GED preferred but not required
• Minimum age of 16
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred

Pay

$16.00 – $20.99 per hour depending upon experience
