Responsibilities
- Provide personal care: assist elders with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, possibly with walkers and wheelchairs.
- Monitor and document health: observe, document, and report changes in the elder’s health or behavior to the Wellness Team.
- Offer emotional support: engage in conversation, active listening, and offer companionship to elders dealing with loneliness, anxiety, or other emotional challenges.
- Assist with meals: help elders with meals and possibly feed elders who require additional support.
- Engage in social and recreational activities: support elders in life-enriching activities for their well-being.
- Communicate: interact with elders, their families, other team members, and guests.
- Keep things clean: perform light housekeeping duties to ensure the cleanliness of the living spaces.
Requirements
- A willingness to learn and work within a team environment.
- Good verbal communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English.
- Licensing documentation (if required by your state) and the ability to pass a criminal background check.
- The ability to perform job responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay
$16.50 - $18.00 per hour, plus a $1.00 night shift differential.
Schedule
Nights 6p to 6am, with every other weekend coverage.
