About the role
Care Partners at CARE PARTNERS are integral members of a vibrant and innovative senior living community. Your role involves providing comprehensive care, emotional support, and engaging in various activities to enhance the lives of seniors.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care: assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance.
- Monitor and document health: observe, document, and report any changes in health or behavior to the Wellness Team.
- Offer emotional support: communicate, listen actively, and offer companionship to address emotional challenges.
- Assist with meals: prepare and serve meals, and assist elders with feeding if needed.
- Engage in social and recreational activities: support elders in participating in enriching activities that promote their well-being.
- Communicate: interact with elders, their families, other team members, and guests.
- Keep things clean: perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
Requirements
- A willingness to learn and collaborate in a team setting.
- Good verbal communication skills, including the ability to converse, read, and write in English with residents and coworkers who primarily speak English.
- Licenses and certifications (if required by your state) and the ability to pass a criminal background check.
- The capability to perform job duties independently or with reasonable accommodations.
