Care Partner

About the role

The Care Partners at Cogir Senior Living provide compassionate and personalized direct care to residents, supporting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Aid residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring.
• Prioritize independence and emotional support by engaging residents in activities and offering companionship.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as making beds and tidying rooms.
• Promote open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current caregiver training/certification per state requirements, or willingness/ability to obtain.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.
• At least 12 months of experience in a professional caregiving setting.
• Experience with memory care is preferred (for Memory Care communities).
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Attention to detail, physical stamina, and high integrity.

Pay

$16.00-$18.00/hour

Schedule

Day shift (7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.) and night/NOC shift (7 p.m.- 7:30 a.m.) positions available.
