About the role
This position serves parents in Circuit 1 (Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton) who are dealing with substance use concerns. It involves coordinating and assisting families with various needs such as substance use, mental health, medical, financial stability, and overall wellness. The Care Manager works closely with community providers and child welfare agencies to support these families.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and assist families in addressing their substance use, mental health, medical, financial stability, and overall wellness.
- Work closely with community providers and child welfare agencies to advocate and assist families.
- Demonstrate understanding of recovery-oriented systems of care (ROSC), case management, and care coordination principles.
- Have experience working with individuals with substance use and mental health concerns.
- Serve all counties in Circuit 1 (Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloa and Walton).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social services field with at least two (2) years of relevant experience required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Working knowledge of the impact of substance use on parents.
- Demonstrated understanding of ROSC principles, case management, and care coordination principles.
- Experience working with people with substance use and mental health concerns.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social services field with at least two (2) years of relevant experience required.
- Master's degree preferred.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of community resources and services.
- Familiarity with ROSC principles and care coordination.
