About the Opportunity
The Care Management Processor provides essential non-clinical administrative support to the care management team. This role contributes to interdisciplinary efforts to deliver coordinated care by managing case assignments, member interactions, and data processes that support care plans and overall member services.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support including case assignment, member screening, scheduling, correspondence processing, data entry, and telephone and clerical assistance for care management services.
- Facilitate initial review of case levels and assist in assigning cases to care managers.
- Review data to identify principal member needs and assist care managers in implementing care plans.
- Schedule member visits with care managers as required.
- Screens members according to organizational policies and assist care management staff in identifying appropriate member services.
- Cookordinate required member services in line with member benefit plans.
- Promote internal and external communication to enhance care management effectiveness.
- Process member and provider correspondence.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an administrative support role within healthcare or equivalent education and experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) or comparable software.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Time-management and organizational abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Pay Range and Compensation Package
