Care Management Assistant Neuro ED OBS Weekend
About the Role
Promotes excellent customer service through interactions with patients, physicians, care managers, and the healthcare team. Collaborates with the Care Managers for patient care coordination needs. Coordinates patient care and services arrangements under the direction of a RN or SW Care Manager and in collaboration with the patient/family. Provides and documents the delivery of regulatory letters to patients or their representatives in accordance with Federal and State regulations. Arranges patient transportation and follow-up appointments as requested. Obtains insurance authorization for patient post-acute care needs as directed by the Care Manager. Other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent (Required).
- 1+ years of office experience, preferably in a medical setting (Preferred).
- Previous data entry experience (Preferred).
Skills
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology (helpful).
- Good public relations, clerical, and computer skills.

Pay
$17.11 - $27.38 per hour.
Schedule
- Part-time.
- Days; Weekends only.
- 8:00 am - 4:30 pm or 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
