Care Giver's Role

The Care Giver's role involves providing hands-on care and support to residents, maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment, and engaging residents in various activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas
• Helping residents maintain independence and promote their dignity and safety
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living as directed
• Engaging residents in life skills and other enrichment activities

Qualifications

• Preferred Certified Nurse’s Aid certification
• High School diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong customer service skills
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
