Care Giver - 1st Shift - Assisted Living

About the role

Heartis Village is hiring first shift Caregivers. Heartis Village Senior Living is now part of the Discovery Management Group, which leads one of the nation's most purpose-driven and people-centered senior living organizations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for designated group of residents during shift; ensures awareness of whereabouts and conducts frequent checks
• Provides daily personal care support, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, and eating assistance
• Helps residents maintain independence while promoting dignity, safety, and overall well-being
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and work areas
• Offers companionship, encouragement, and emotional support to residents
• Engages residents in meaningful life skills activities and enrichment programs
• Notifies supervisor and/or health care coordinator if a resident has increased care needs
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aid (CNA) certification preferred
• High School diploma or GED required
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Prior experience working with seniors preferred
• Strong communication skills with residents, team members, and leadership
• Compassionate, resident-focused approach with superior customer service skills
• Able to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

Pay

Based on years of experience

Schedule

12 hour shifts: 6AM - 6PM or 8 hour shifts 6AM - 2PM and every other weekend
