Care Director

Aegis Living is seeking an experienced Care Director who will report to the General Manager (GM) and lead the care team, including Care Managers (CM), Medication Care Managers (MCM), and Associate Care Directors (ACD). The Care Director partners with the Health Services Director to ensure residents receive assessed care services and builds positive relationships with residents and families through professional and timely communication.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing, hiring, training, and motivating paraprofessional caregivers
• Assisting the nursing team to complete assessments
• Customizing resident service plans to ensure quality of care
• Setting standards that create a sense of security for residents
• Facilitating information sharing among resident, family, and physician on residents’ health care issues

Requirements

• Healthcare staff management experience required
• Memory Care experience preferred
• Experience in training and development
• Ability to build a team that works hard, supports one another, and builds fun into the job
• Experience working with geriatric population is preferred
• Understanding of memory care programming is desired
• A willingness to work the floor and lead by example

Pay

$88,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
