Care Coordinator- Cobble Hill

About the role

Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy is seeking a qualified, passionate Care Coordinator to join the team at our clinic in Cobble Hill. Care Coordinators support patient care by making patients feel welcomed and valued while controlling the flow of appointments. They are expected to respond to all phone calls and emails within 2 hours and always within 24 hours, guide patients through the out‑of‑network experience, greet every patient with a smile, and deliver 5‑star customer service. Responsibilities

• Answer and respond to all phone calls and emails promptly (within 2 hours, always within 24 hours).
• Welcome and greet patients entering the clinic with a friendly demeanor.
• Guide patients through out‑of‑network processes and appointment flow.
• Provide 5‑star customer service throughout the patient experience.
• Maintain accurate documentation and manage appointment scheduling.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a supportive, community‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.
• Hospitable, welcoming, and team‑oriented attitude.
• Strong communication skills and ability to multitask.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to grow.
• BA/BS degree preferred, not required.
• Passion for hospitality and customer service.
• Self‑motivation and willingness to go above and beyond.
• Proactive, collaborative, team‑oriented mindset; avoids working in silos.

Physical Requirements

• Manual dexterity to manipulate office equipment and make written notations.
• Ability to use a computer keyboard for ~90 % of each workday.
• Hearing acuity to communicate over the telephone.
• Visual acuity to read information on a computer screen.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Occasionally lift up to 10 pounds (floor to waist level).
