Now Hiring: Care Coordinator (Bilingual Spanish Required)
About the Role
At Inland Respite, we provide compassionate, high-quality respite care to families of individuals with developmental disabilities. We strive to empower families and care providers with responsive, supportive, and compliant service.
Responsibilities
- Serve as main contact for families and Respite Care Providers to address inquiries, schedule changes, and service support
- Ensure compliance with documentation including IPPs, Parent Packets, Conditions of Employment, and EVV signatures; maintain database accuracy
- Review electronic timecard entries for accuracy and resolve discrepancies with providers
- Analyze paper and electronic timecard data for consistency
- Coordinate filling open shifts and track provider availability
- Communicate service disruptions and escalate staffing shortages to senior leadership
- Monitor service utilization trends; document and address under-utilization, overages, and inactive clients in WellSky
- Collaborate with EVV Clerk to maintain electronic visit record accuracy
- Receive and log Special Incident Reports (SIRs); notify Senior Care Coordinator for follow-up as needed
- Manage client terminations and initiate replacement processes
- Manage scheduling systems and update shift logs in databases
- Assist families with technical support and educate on system use and service expectations
- Process service authorization changes according to protocols
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in internal systems
- Escalate complex issues to Senior Care Coordinator for resolution
- Participate in special projects and department initiatives as assigned
Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Human Services or related field
- Familiarity with developmental disabilities preferred
- Comfortable handling sensitive, confidential information in compliance with HIPAA
- High accuracy, attention to detail, and accountability
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, cloud-based platforms, and EHR systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Office-based with indoor and outdoor home visits
- Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Physical activities include walking, bending, and driving
- Periodic travel throughout Southern California

Pay
26.00 Hourly
Schedule
Full-Time / Hybrid: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Qualifications
