Care Assistant

Right at Home Bedford supports vulnerable adults in the local community who need care and support in their own home. We can offer you training and flexible hours to work around your availability to ensure those who need help will get it. Previous care experience is not essential, however a kind and caring attitude certainly is.

Responsibilities

• Personal care
• Assisting clients with washing and dressing
• Shopping
• Housekeeping and meal preparation
• Companionship

Requirements

• Personable, well-presented, and completely trustworthy
• Drivers are preferred but not essential
• Subject to a DBS check (applied for during the recruitment process)

Pay

• Excellent pay rates up to £13.50 per hour depending on experience
• Mileage and travel time allowance
• Paid holiday: 25 days a year
