Care And Share Worker - Part Time

Part-time position up to 29 hours per week with no benefits. Works under the supervision of the Active Living Center Director.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the daily and weekly operations of the department.
• Assist with the distribution of commodities to qualified transient and sub-poverty populations within Kane County.
• Maintain food inventory, sort food, and stock shelves as needed.
• Support the daily operation of the Active Living Center, including:
  • Cooking
  • Delivering Meals on Wheels
  • Clerical duties
  • Other tasks to assist Active Living Center staff

Requirements

• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be CPR and First Aid certified or able to obtain certification.
• Must possess a Utah State Food Handlers Permit or be able to obtain it within three months of hire.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting a minimum of 40 lbs.
