Who We're Looking For
Copa Health is seeking a compassionate and motivated Care Advocate to join our 24/7 transitional housing program. As a Care Advocate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, dignity, and well-being of participants while fostering a welcoming and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support participants in understanding and following program expectations.
- Conduct rounds and wellness checks to monitor safety and security.
- De-escalate conflicts safely and appropriately; engage crisis response as needed.
- Encourage life skills, job readiness, and financial literacy programs.
- Connect participants to case management and community resources.
- Cook up to 10 meals per day
- Cook up to 5 meals per day
- Coordinate move-ins and move-outs for smooth transitions.
- Maintain accurate supply inventory and oversee meal services.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 6 months of experience in human services, shelter, or transitional housing (related volunteer experience considered)
- Valid driver’s license with eligibility to drive company vehicles
- Must obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card within 8 weeks of hire
- TB clearance required at hire and annually thereafter
- Must successfully complete pre-employment drug screening
- Knowledge of Arizona community resources preferred
