Cardiovascular Technologist | Full Time | Days

Responsibilities

• Affords assistance to providers during stress exams.
• Executes electrocardiogram (ECG) and manages associated data.
• Prepares and educates patients regarding procedures and expectations.
• Administers medications and performs Holter and ZioPatch exam applications and scans.
• Monitors and communicates any changes in patient signs and symptoms to providers.
• Documents and maintains patient and test data.
• Completes billing for tests performed.
• Maintains and utilizes departmental and hospital equipment.
• Participates in departmental, team, and committee goals.
• Takes ownership and responsibility for individual performance goals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Certification required: Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) certification within 2 years and maintained thereafter.
• Minimum 6 to 12 months of related clinical experience.
• Some cardiac monitoring experience.
