Role: The Cardiographic Technician performs direct patient care, including electrocardiograms (ECGs), stress testing, and cardiac monitoring. They analyze monitor data, complete reports, and assist with departmental responsibilities across various patient populations. Responsibilities: They facilitate effective communication with providers regarding complex patient needs, oversee equipment quality control, troubleshooting, and maintenance. They provide guidance to team members, handle complex issues related to productivity and quality, and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications & Skills: Candidates must hold certifications such as CCT, CET, CEKG, or NCET, along with a high school diploma or GED. Relevant life support certification (BLS) and at least two years of experience are required. Critical thinking, decisiveness, and minimal supervision are essential. Performs in all departmental specialties and supports new hires and interns.Ensures equipment functionality and quality standards.Communicates effectively with healthcare providers and analyzes cardiac monitor data.
