Cardiovascular Technician Sr

About the role

The Cardiographic Technician performs direct patient care, including electrocardiograms (ECGs), stress testing, and cardiac monitoring. They analyze monitor data, complete reports, and assist with departmental responsibilities across various patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate effective communication with providers regarding complex patient needs
• Oversee equipment quality control, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Provide guidance to team members and handle complex issues related to productivity and quality
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure equipment functionality and maintain quality standards
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and analyze cardiac monitor data
• Perform in all departmental specialties and support new hires and interns

Qualifications & Skills

• Certifications such as CCT, CET, CEKG, or NCET
• High school diploma or GED
• Relevant life support certification (BLS)
• At least two years of experience
• Critical thinking, decisiveness, and minimal supervision
