About the Role
As a Cath Lab Tech/CV Tech, you will be a vital clinical professional applying specialized X-ray energy for patient diagnosis or treatment. You will perform complex radiological procedures and techniques, producing high-quality images for interpretation by licensed practitioners. Your role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning while operating advanced equipment with precision and upholding imaging standards. Success in this role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, a deep understanding of radiation safety, and a compassionate, patient-focused approach.
Responsibilities
- Assist doctors during intricate heart procedures.
- Set up and maintain sterile equipment for procedures.
- Provide compassionate patient care pre, intra, and post-procedure, including groin management.
- Process images and take measurements for doctor decision-making.
- Participate in on-call shifts.
Requirements
- Radiology Technology degree.
- ARRT registry.
- Oregon Radiographer license.
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
Qualifications
Preferred:
- Two years of experience as a staff technologist.
- One year of experience in a Cath Lab.
