Cardiovascular Specialist, Health and Science Professional - Union, NJ

As a CARD Health & Science Professional (HSP), you will be responsible for increasing territory sales and developing relationships with assigned customers and accounts through product promotion and strategic business management. This role requires customer, market, and business acumen, analytical skills, strong product and disease state knowledge, and the ability to drive sales both in-person and virtually. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer needs and deliver on Pfizer’s business objectives compliantly.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales in an assigned territory.
- Engage with customers both face-to-face and virtually.
- Develop and implement effective business and territory call plans; identify and execute live/virtual engagement strategies to maximize impact.
- Build rapport and relationships with customers using digital tools for successful engagement.
- Leverage internal reports and analytics to identify, develop, and implement strategic business opportunities.
- Compliantly educate providers on unbranded and branded product value propositions for relevant patient populations using approved clinical resources.
- Collaborate effectively across the organization to address customer inquiries and advance Pfizer objectives.
- Complete all administrative tasks on time and compliantly.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience or High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience in one or more of the following:
- Professional Sales or Promotional Activity
- Small Business Owner or other Entrepreneurial experience
- Marketing, Customer Service, and/or Account Management
- Relevant Healthcare/Scientific roles (e.g., RN, Pharmacist, PT, OT)
- Educator (e.g., Teacher, Principal)
- Full-Time Military experience
- Must live within 25 miles of the border of the assigned territory.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with a driving record compliant with company standards. Any DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify you from being hired.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales, and/or medical-related marketing experience.
- Strong track record of sales or marketing success, territory management skills, and outstanding communication abilities.
- Demonstrated teamwork, leadership, and accountability.
- Experience with applicable disease states, therapeutic areas, and products.
- Knowledge of territory customers and markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions/organizations).
- Reside within the territory boundaries.
Pay
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $76,000 to $199,600. During initial new hire sales training, you will be classified as a salary non-exempt employee eligible for overtime pay. Upon training certification, you will become an overtime-exempt employee. This position also offers an additional quarterly Sales Incentive bonus.

This is a remote, field-based role. Geography includes Harrison, Elizabeth/Elizabethport, Springfield - NJ; and Staten Island (including Tottenville) - NY.
