This position focuses on general cardiology with opportunities to align with subspecialties, balancing approximately 70% clinical care and 30% research. There is potential to expand protected research time.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent investigator-initiated research in cardiovascular medicine.
• Participate in clinical trials, outcomes research, and translational studies.
• Mentor junior faculty and contribute to academic growth.
• Utilize large-scale EMR, genomic, and phenotypic datasets.
• Engage in clinical practice in general cardiology.
• Contribute to academic publications and mentorship.
• Support ongoing NIH-funded projects and clinical trials.
