Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist PRN

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist PRN at Oviedo Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
• Prepares and supports patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
• Operates and maintains advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
• Maintains a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care

Requirements

• (ARRT-R) Radiography, required
• RCIS Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, required
• RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist) optional
• State of Florida License, required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date

• Vocational School Graduate

Skills

• Knowledge of ionizing radiation for detecting pathology
• Ability to operate and maintain advanced equipment
• Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain professional relationships
