Role: CVOR Registered Nurse providing specialized cardiovascular perioperative care in an academic health setting. Responsibilities Deliver pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care for patients undergoing complex cardiac and vascular procedures.Conduct detailed patient assessments and monitor hemodynamics and cardiac rhythms.Maintain sterile techniques and administer medications and IV therapies accurately.Ensure precise documentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR).Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, evidence-based, and compassionate patient care. Qualifications & Skills Expertise in cardiovascular perioperative nursing and critical patient assessment.Proficiency in hemodynamic and rhythm monitoring, sterile techniques, medication administration, and documentation.Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
