Cardiovascular Non-Invasive Technologist - Echo Sonographer - (Cardiac - Echo - Sonography - Sono)

About the role

This position is part of a newly established cardiac department at a not-for-profit hospital in Wichita, Kansas. The hospital is the only dedicated pediatric hospital in the region and has undergone a significant $36 million-dollar renovation to enhance its services.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive cardiovascular imaging procedures using echocardiography equipment.
• Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various cardiac conditions through interpretation of ultrasound images.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic results.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and safety protocols during procedures.

Requirements

• Current certification in Cardiac Sonography (CERT-ARDMS-RDCS(AE)) and Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
• BLS/AHA certification required.
• At least 1 year of experience as a sonographer or echo technologist.
• Valid Social Security Number required.
• Date of Birth required.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and must be able to pass a background check.

Skills

Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
