Cardiovascular-Invasive Tech

Overview

Christian Hospital is looking for a Scrub tech in the Cardiac cath lab. This position will assist physicians with various cardiac and vascular procedures, including structural heart procedures. Sterile technique and patient care are integral parts of every procedure. Use of x-ray equipment is also required.

Call Schedule

Monday through Friday 8am- 4:30pm. Call schedule 1-2 days per week plus every 3rd weekend.

Additional Information About The Role

The Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Christian Hospital provides services to in-house patients, outpatients, ER patients, and patients transferred from other facilities, excluding pediatric patients. The Scrub tech performs basic physical, emotional, and educational assessments of patients undergoing cardiac catheterization. They also prepare the room and supplies, calculate hemodynamic values for the physician during diagnostic and intervention procedures, and assist with procedures under the guidance of the physician.

Basic Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Licenses & Certifications: RCIS

• Supervisor Experience
