Cardiovascular Chest Radiologist

About the role

The Department of Radiology at UMass Memorial Medical Group is seeking a full-time diagnostic Cardiovascular Chest Imager to join our academic team. This position is embedded in our training program and is part of a growing Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging Division.

Responsibilities

• Performing diagnostic imaging examinations for cardiovascular and chest conditions
• Teaching and mentoring residents and fellows in cardiac imaging
• Participating in research activities related to cardiovascular and chest imaging
• Collaborating with cardiologists and other specialists in the field

Requirements

• Fellowship training or experience in Cardiac Imaging (CT and MR)
• A passion for teaching the next generation of radiologists
• Comfortable with all Cardiovascular and Chest Imaging Modalities including Cardiac CT, Cardiac MRI, and CTA
• Ability to read 1-2 days remotely and the remaining time onsite

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology
• Current Massachusetts Medical License

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in electronic medical records systems

Pay

$365,000.00 - $435,000.00 per year

Hybrid reading environment with 1-2 days remote and the remaining time onsite
