Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician providing locum tenens support in an inpatient setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac and thoracic surgeries including coronary artery bypass grafting, valve replacements, thoracic and vascular procedures, carotid endarterectomy, and pericardial window.
- Handle call duties as scheduled, ensuring high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Board Certified, with optional fellowship.
- Required certifications include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
- Must hold licensure in Tennessee or through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.
Skills & Key Duties
- Manage complex surgical cases.
- Adhere to credentialing standards with a 90-day timeframe.
- Utilize Cerner electronic medical records.
- Provide expert surgical care in an inpatient practice setting.
