Responsibilities
- Provide surgical care in operating rooms.
- Manage patients in Intensive Care Units.
- Perform rounding in Emergency Departments and hospital floors.
- Participate in on‑call rotations, including nights and weekends, ensuring comprehensive patient coverage.
Key Duties
- Conduct cardiothoracic surgeries.
- Oversee patient recovery.
- Collaborate with hospital teams for optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain credentialing within 30 days and adhere to hospital protocols.
Qualifications
- Board certification in cardiothoracic surgery.
- Active Connecticut medical license.
- Certifications in ACLS and BLS.
- Proficiency with Epic EMR system (preferred).
Work Environment
In‑house hospital environment with diverse case types, including surgeries and patient rounds.
