About the role
Locum tenens Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician needed to provide inpatient call support for a facility seeking coverage.
Responsibilities
- Inpatient practice setting
- Manage thoracic and cardiac surgery cases (cardiovascular and thoracic surgical patients)
- Provide call coverage with beeper notification and 30‑minute response time
- Maintain a 1:2 call ratio
Requirements
- Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery / Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Active South Carolina medical license or eligibility via the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
- Credentialing completed within 90 days
- Experience with Cerner electronic medical record system

$3,104.00 – $3,360.00 (rate as indicated)

Facility located about 25 miles south of Charlotte, NC and approximately 70 miles north of Columbia, in Rock Hill, SC – a mid‑sized city frequently named among the "100 Best Communities for Young People," featuring three colleges, five museums, 31 parks and recreation areas, and host to the U.S. Disc Golf Championship and U.S. Youth Soccer National Championships.
