Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician

Responsibilities

• Weekday coverage Monday‑Friday onsite, covering night call and rounding on patients
• Inpatient practice setting
• Types of cases: Adult Cardiac Surgery, General Thoracic Surgery, CABG, Heart Valve Repair/Replacement, Tube Thoracostomy, Pericardial Window, Thoracotomy (Lung Biopsy, Lung Resection, Pneumonectomy), Thoracotomy Decortication, and Mediastinal Surgery; approximately 1 case per weekend

Requirements

• Credentialing timeframe: 60‑90 days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC
• Certifications: Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgery, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
• Licensure: Michigan (required)

Pay rate: $3,104.00 – $3,360.00 (per day, as indicated)
