Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Associate - Locum Tenens

This position is for a Physician Assistant providing cardiovascular surgery coverage in a hospital-based setting. Responsibilities Include Providing inpatient hospital and OR coverage, including first assist and vein harvesting procedures using the EVH system.Working 7-10 days per month with structured shifts: 12-hour days Monday through Friday and 24-hour weekend shifts.Participating in 24-hour in-house call during the assignment.Collaborating with a mid-level provider and RN support staff to ensure continuity of care.Handling emergency responses during night calls. Qualifications And Skills Required Prescriptive authority.Experience with cardiovascular surgical procedures preferred.Ability to work in inpatient and OR environments.Flexibility to work variable case loads and patient populations of all ages. Additional Details Support staff includes one mid-level and one RN.Location is on-site in a hospital setting.No specific government employment restrictions.
