Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

• 5 days a week – 7am – 3pm most days
• Position duties include a heavy inpatient, ½ day outpatient per week
• 2 Surgeons and 3 APPs
• Night Call 1:3 to 1:4
• Participate in weekend & holiday rotation 1:3 to 1:4
• Training on the job
• Set OR blocks
• Rounding on patients

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess national certification as a PA and Virginia licensure (or willing to obtain)
• Must embrace a team-oriented approach and have a strong desire to make a difference in the community.
