About the role
The Department of Radiology at Northwell Health is growing and actively seeking a BC/BE, fellowship trained Cardiothoracic Radiologist to join our team. This is a full-time position with in-person, hybrid and remote options available when feasible. Our Cardiothoracic division is involved in imaging of coronary artery disease, structural heart disease, cardiomyopathies, lung cancer screening, occupational diseases, and interstitial lung diseases. The Cardiothoracic division hosts several multidisciplinary clinical conferences and tumor boards. Opportunity in academics includes an appointment in Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine and opportunities for research.
Responsibilities
- Imaging of coronary artery disease, structural heart disease, cardiomyopathies, lung cancer screening, occupational diseases, and interstitial lung diseases
- Participation in multidisciplinary clinical conferences and tumor boards
- Academic appointment and research opportunities
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BE/BC) in Radiology
- Completion of Cardiothoracic Imaging Fellowship
- Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in New York
