Cardiothoracic imaging Radiologist - Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor

About the role

The University of Utah Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences seeks a cardiothoracic imaging radiologist to join our team. This position offers clinical services, education for trainees, and participation in or leadership of quality improvement, value initiatives, and research projects.

Responsibilities

• Interpret thoracic imaging studies on-site or remotely via teleradiology or both.
• Provide exceptional clinical services and education for trainees.
• Participate or lead quality improvement, value initiatives, and research projects.

Qualifications

• American Board of Radiology (or equivalent) certification or eligibility.
• Fellowship training (or equivalent) in thoracic imaging, cardiothoracic imaging, or body imaging, including chest imaging training.
• Eligible for a Utah medical license.
• Outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills.

Facilities and Institution

• Provides clinical services at the University Hospital, Huntsman Cancer Hospital, and multiple outpatient centers.
• Access to extensive imaging resources, including MRIs, dual-energy CTs, intraoperative MRIs, PET-CT scanners, and pre-clinical imaging resources like micro PET-MRI and 7T MRI.
• Offers an outstanding residency program in Diagnostic Radiology and a cardiothoracic imaging fellowship program.
• Research opportunities with a broad case mix and support from the Utah Center for Advanced Imaging Research (UCAIR).
