About the role
The role involves providing cardiopulmonary diagnostic services with compassion and technical proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Operate stress testing and EKG equipment
- Perform nuclear medicine and pharmacological stress tests
- Manage cardiology data systems
- Conduct routine and emergency EKGs
- Perform Holter and cardiac event monitor setup
- Conduct newborn hearing screenings
- Ensure quality data and adhere to procedures
- Participate in professional development
- Maintain supplies and perform clerical tasks
- Identify quality improvement opportunities
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Preferred experience in non-invasive medical testing or coursework in cardiology and pulmonary labs
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
