Responsibilities
- Perform graded exercise testing and nuclear stress testing under the supervision of the RN.
- Assist the patient in getting ready for the test: apply electrodes, may need to take vital signs, watch the monitor, etc.
- Notify the RN for any abnormalities in heart rhythm.
- Apply Holter monitors and assist with daily paperwork for testing department.
- Display Service Excellence and have strong interpersonal skills.
- Perform EKGs.
- Demonstrate clinical competency.
- Explain procedures, properly apply electrodes, watch the monitor during exercise, and be aware of any cardiac abnormalities.
- Prepare room, clean up.
- Demonstrate Service Excellence values to all customers.
- Be kind, helpful, and courteous to patients.
- Display teamwork efforts with other staff.
- Help ensure proper testing.
- Help patients get started on time, minimize delays if possible.
- Makes the bed, stocks supplies.
- May also perform EKG's, apply Holters, etc.
- Perform proper protocol.
- Charges, files as needed.
- May assist in other cardiology duties.
- Recognize and act appropriately in recognized emergency situations.
- Stay current with cardiology trends.
Requirements
- High School Degree.
- May need to start IV’s.
- Up to 1 year experience in a related field.
Qualifications
- Flexibility to work a variable three-day schedule rotating among four TriHealth sites (Clifton, Finneytown, Anderson, Western Ridge).
- Participation in limited weekend on-call coverage (8am – 12noon).
- High School Degree.
- May need to start IV’s.
- Up to 1 year experience in a related field.

Pay
Part-time (48 hours bi-weekly) Day Shift.

Variable three-day schedule rotating among four TriHealth sites (Clifton, Finneytown, Anderson, Western Ridge).
