About the role
ECU Health Physicians and ECU Heart & Vascular Care–Edenton & Ahoskie are seeking a board-eligible/board-certified cardiologist to join their practices located in Edenton and Ahoskie, North Carolina. Fellowship training is required.
Responsibilities
- Full clinical support by ECU Health Heart & Vascular Care Program
- Inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities including consults, new and established patient care, and assisting with stress tests
- Alternating workdays with a telecardiologist
- No call
Schedule
- Monday–Friday schedule
- 3 days per week in Edenton (8:00 am–4:30 pm)
- 2 days per week in nearby Ahoskie (7:30 am–4:30 pm)

- Hospital privileges at ECU Health Chowan Hospital (25-bed critical access) and ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital (114-bed regional)
- Large primary care and specialist referral network
