Cardiology - Noninterventional Physician

About the Role

Join a growing private cardiology practice in Western North Carolina. This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiac care while operating a mobile vascular and cardiac lab.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiac care.
• Perform diagnostics including nuclear studies, echocardiograms, vascular ultrasounds, pulmonary function tests (PFT), and event monitoring.
• Operate a mobile vascular and cardiac lab.
• Participate in ER consultations, hospital rounds, peripheral vascular (PV) procedures, and cardiac lab interventions at one community hospital.
• Collaborate with a team consisting of 1 physician and 3 advanced practice providers (APPs) to meet growing patient demand.

Requirements

• Experienced cardiologist with a motivation to work in a fast-paced, private practice setting.
• Business owner mindset and ability to handle a high-volume workload.
• Willingness to participate in a call rotation of approximately 1 in 2 or 1 in 3 with an additional provider.
