Role Overview
Provide outpatient and inpatient cardiology coverage, including consults and procedures in a hospital setting. Manage a patient volume of 3 to 10 per day, averaging 5-6 new consults daily. Perform duties such as reading images, conducting TEEs, and occasionally proctoring stress tests. Cover for a physician on medical leave for 2-3 months, with work hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Maintain an office-based practice with procedures performed in the hospital.
Qualifications & Skills
- Board Certified in cardiology
- State license in South Carolina
- Experience with EMR systems, specifically Meditech
