Role Overview

Growing, financially solid medical center with 30 specialties & state of the art technology/equipment has received approval for plans to create additional capacity/beds due to increased volume. Site is home to 4 residency programs. High ratings, with nearly zero physician attrition due to strong culture.

Responsibilities

• Join 2 board-certified cardiologists plus several NPs in a hospital employed role
• Be busy immediately Mon-Thurs. 8a-5p; Friday half days
• Week split between Clinic & Heart Center
• Average patient volume-14 patients per day at clinic; Daily hospital patients vary
• Call required 7 days per month for medical/therapeutic cardiology only; No STMI Call; Shared with other fellow cardiologists; Extra pay for extra call
• Cath lab features state-of-the-art equipment, including a GE Myospect Nuclear Camera
• Opportunity to precept local medical students + residents as well as students who travel for rotations

Requirements

• Completion of Medical School & Internal Medicine residency
• Ability to obtain/maintain medical license in state of Georgia
• Fellowship training Interventional Cardiology
• 1+ years experience preferred
• Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiology
• 2026 Fellows welcome
• Not an underserved area!

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa

Competitive salary commensurate with experience
