Cardiology (Inpatient) Advanced Practice Provider
Job Summary
Asheville Cardiology Associates (ACA) is seeking experienced advanced practice providers to join their expanding inpatient cardiology team in Asheville, North Carolina. Qualified candidates must have completed an accredited physician assistant or nurse practitioner program with appropriate certification exams, hold a current license with the North Carolina Medical Board, have BLS and ACLS certifications, and have cardiology APP experience.
Position Highlights
- Inpatient only position
- Performs admissions, discharges, consults and general rounding on all cardiology patients
- Includes rounding on patients in ICU
- Shares in STEMI call with Interventional Cardiologists
- .9 FTE; 72 hrs. per bi-weekly pay period
- Shifts - 12 hrs.; 7A-7P
- Primarily day shifts; some nights and weekend coverage required
- No call requirements outside of scheduled hours
